Tithe: Member Mistakingly Sends N1m, Arrests Pastor For Refusing To Refund N900,000 Balance
A man has arrested his pastor for allegedly refusing to refund the sum of 900,000 after he mistakenly sent one million naira to his account, as tithe.
The man in a viral video said he wanted to send N100,000 to the pastor but mistakenly sent 1 million naira.
In the short video, some armed Nigerian Policemen who identified as “Police officers from the State CID” escorted the man who mistakenly sent One Million Naira, instead of a hundred thousand Naira, as tithe, to the house of the pastor who has allegedly refused to refund money mistakenly transferred to his account.
According to the man who mistakenly sent One Million Naira, instead of a Hundred thousand Naira to a pastor, “I brought them (Police) here because of the money I mistakenly transferred into your account. I was supposed to transfer a hundred thousand Naira, but I transferred One Million Naira, and since then, I have been asking you to refund me the Nine Hundred Thousand, and you keep (SIC) on telling me, go to God and collect your money, it’s a spiritual matter.”
