Many people have given up their academic ambitions because they believe they are too old to pursue them. But how old do you have to be to say that obtaining a BSc, BA, Master’s, or Ph.D. is impossible? The truth is that learning has no age restrictions. 1. Odunlade Adekola

Before venturing into Nollywood in 2006, actor Odunlade Adekola, who is most known for his comedic roles in movies, only had a diploma from Moshood Abiola Polytechnic. Despite his fame and fortune as a Nollywood actor, Odunlade Adekola aspired to attend university and obtain a bachelor’s degree.

 

At the age of 40, Odulande Adekola graduated with a BSc in business administration from the University of Lagos, 12 years after joining Nollywood.

As expected, his fans and admirers flocked to him for selfies during his convocation.

 

2. Kanayo .O. Kanayo

 

To be honest, many people wanted to be doctors or accountants when they were younger, but now they work in completely other fields. While some people believe it is fate, others, like Kanayo .O. Kanayo, strive diligently to achieve their childhood dreams.

After earning his first degree in 1990, Kanayo .O. Kanayo has always intended to return to university to seek a law degree. The actor’s dream came true in 2019 when he graduated from the University of Abuja with a law degree, 29 years after receiving his first degree. He was 57 years old at the time.

Kanayo .O. Kanayo was called to the bar and became a full-fledged lawyer in 2020. It is never too late to pursue your dreams.

3. Alex Usifo
