Peter Obi Reacts After Doyin Okupe Said Tinubu Is Better Than Him And Atiku In Terms Of Capability
Peter Obi, the Labour Party candidate in the 2023 presidential election, has reacted to comments made by Doyin Okupe, his former campaign director. Okupe recently said that President Tinubu was better than Obi and former PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar in terms of capability.
During an interview with Arise TV, Peter Obi emphasized that Okupe’s opinion is personal and does not bother him. He said that what matters now are the current issues in Nigeria. He questioned if daily essentials like garri and yam have become cheaper and if the government is effectively managing corruption. Obi urged everyone to focus on solving these real problems.
Peter Obi confidently stated that he is fit to be the President of Nigeria. He said he has the necessary education, competence, and background to stand out among other candidates.
