Presidential Spokesman, Chief Ajuri Ngelale has stated that if the Labour Congress has its way, what impact will a N500,000 minimum wage have on the citizens of the country.
Ajuri Ngelale made the statement while breaking down the potential consequences of Organized Labour’s N494,000 minimum wage on citizens via the Presidency Official X page on Monday.
The Presidency statement comes after the labor union embarked on an indefinite strike regarding the increase of the minimum wage.
According to the post shared by the Presidency, Ajuri said that essentially, Nigeria is moving from the current wage of N30,000 to about N500,000 per month if the Labor has its way. Ajuri stressed about the impact this would have on the citizens of the country.
