You Are Taking On The Man Who Was In Charge Of Your Finances, Who Knew Where The Bones Were Buried – Professor Okey Ikechukwu

In a candid interview on Arise TV, a political analyst and the Executive Director of Development Specs Academy, Professor Okey Ikechukwu discussed the power struggle between Governor Fubara and his predecessor, Nyesom Wike.

He explained that Wike, who allegedly played a role in Fubara’s rise to power, expected loyalty from Fubara but also sought to maintain control over the government by issuing directives.

He suggested that Wike’s approach was unwise, considering Fubara’s previous position as the state’s accountant-general.

He argued that Fubara possessed knowledge of the government’s financial affairs, including potentially controversial aspects. He also questioned the source of Wike’s wealth, referencing his public admission of funding the campaigns of various candidates.
