Benue Woman Stabs Husband To Death After Disagreement Over Sêx

A 29-year-old woman named Torkwase Kpile has been accused of stabbing her husband to death following an argument about sex in Achusa Village, Makurdi Local Government Area of Benue State.

The couple, who had been married for only two months, reportedly engaged in a heated dispute over the matter before the tragic incident unfolded.

Torkwase allegedly picked up a kitchen knife and stabbed her husband, Igbah Kpile, in the neck during the altercation. The attack did not stop there, as the woman is said to have continued stabbing her spouse in various parts of his body until he collapsed. Neighbors, alerted by Igbah’s cries for help, rushed to the scene and found him lying in a pool of blood. Torkwase, showing no remorse, allegedly claimed that her husband had been disturbing her for sêx.

Igbah was immediately rushed to a nearby clinic in Makurdi, but he tragically passed away on the way. The doctor on duty confirmed his death upon arrival. Meanwhile, Torkwase has fled the scene, and the police have launched an investigation into the murder case. Efforts to reach the spokesperson of the Benue State Police Command, SP Catheren Anene, for confirmation were unsuccessful.
