2. China.

China is another country where the practice of polyandry is common among the people of Tibet in the northern part of China. By this practice, two brothers can marry the same woman. Mostly this practice is encouraged when the family is poor, and they can’t divide or separate their properties. They tend to marry one wife, so they can keep sharing things in common.

3. South America.

In South America, some tribes practiced polyandry, which is 70% of amazonian culture women are allowed to get married to two brothers or multiple partners.

4. Nigeria.

Although this is not common in the Nigeria culture, but there are tribes in Nigeria that allow polyandry where a woman can get married to multiple husbands.

This tribe called Irigwe is located in the northern part of Nigeria. This people practice such a culture whereby women get married to multiple husbands. Such a marriage ended in the year 1968.
