Reactions After El-Rufai Visited The Former Governor Of The Central Bank Of Biafra In USA

There have been several reactions from social media users after the former governor of Kaduna state, Mallam Nasir El-Rufai and the former governor of the Central Bank of Biafra, Dr. Sylvester Ugoh were captured together.

The pictures were shared on the official X handle of the former governor of Kaduna state on Thursday.

After sharing the pictures, El-Rufai said the moment was captured after he paid a visit to Sylvester Ugoh at his home in Maryland, USA.

 

He said as former governor of the Central Bank of Biafra, Sylvester Ugoh appreciates the challenges being faced by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

He wrote on his page;

“I had the unique privilege to visit Elder Statesman Dr. Sylvester Ugoh, the former Minister in the Shagari’s administration, and running mate to Bashir Othman Tofa in June 12, 1993 presidential election in his home in Maryland, USA. Dr. Ugoh looked strong, healthy and content, but deeply concerned about the situation in Nigeria at the ripe old age of 93. As former Governor of the Central Bank of Biafra, he appreciates the challenges being faced by the Central Bank of Nigeria”.
