These People Should Go And Ask Tinubu What He Said To Me At Our First Meeting In 1998- Pat Utomi
A former presidential candidate and a Chieftain of the Labour Party, LP, Prof. Pat Utomi, has slammed some individuals accusing him of always speaking against the Yoruba tribe. While speaking, he urged those individuals to ask President Tinubu what he said to him at their first meeting in 1998.
He went on and made it known that there is no reason why a Yoruba person should call him names, recalling how he put his life on the line and protested when Abiola’s election was annulled in 1993.
Professor Pat Utomi made this disclosure in a post he made on his official X handle on Friday afternoon. Mr Utomi went on and noted that when the Oba of Lagos was being pilloried for some comments and he moved to douse it by putting things in context. He went on and made it known that Lagos State Government called him “an icon of Lagos” when some civility still existed.
