NADECO Chieftain Urges ADC To Support Peter Obi, Criticises Current Administration

A prominent political activist and insider from the National Democratic Coalition (NADECO) has publicly weighed in on the ongoing political realignments ahead of the 2027 general elections.

Speaking during a recent political broadcast, the pro-democracy advocate strongly urged the leadership of the African Democratic Congress to exclusively zone its presidential ticket to Peter Obi.

The activist argued that the former Anambra State Governor possesses the required national acceptance and verifiable track record to effectively lead a unified opposition movement.

The political stakeholder noted that presenting Peter Obi as the consensus candidate of a massive mega-party coalition remains the most viable strategy to secure electoral victory.

While assessing the current state of the nation, the NADECO insider delivered a highly critical evaluation of the economic and political policies introduced by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The outspoken activist controversially alleged that the severe economic hardship and political climate currently experienced by Nigerians are significantly harsher than the historical military regime of General Sani Abacha.

Drawing from his extensive background in the pro-democracy struggles of the 1990s, the stakeholder expressed deep disappointment over the current trajectory of the nation’s democratic governance.

He accused the current administration of implementing extremely harsh economic frameworks that continuously impoverish ordinary citizens while allegedly suppressing dissenting political voices.

The pro-democracy advocate ultimately called on all well-meaning political leaders to immediately set aside their regional differences and form a formidable alliance to stabilise the country.

Political analysts heavily predict that ongoing calls for a massive opposition merger will continue to intensify as the nation gradually approaches the next electoral cycle….See More
