In a recent interview with Arise TV, Babachir Lawal, former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, expressed displeasure with the policies of the president and the performance of his ministers. He attributed Dr. Edu’s actions to the “Emilokan effect,” a term he used to describe a philosophy of entitlement. Lawal also declared that if he finds himself in a similar situation as Mrs. Betta Edu, he will do the same.
He explained that the ministers were chosen based on the Emilokan philosophy, suggesting that they view their positions as opportunities for personal gain.
