Yusuf Baba-Ahmed, Vice Presidential candidate of the Labour Party during the 2023 general, has criticized a president with a questionable past, saying he’s not impressed when someone with a history of fake certificates and forfeitures calls himself the President, according to Daily Post.

Baba-Ahmed stated that he’s only scared when someone wins elections fair and plays by the rules.

He mentioned his concerns about a president’s legitimacy if there are allegations of fake certificates and forfeitures.

Baba-Ahmed also said that he don’t feels intimidated by those who don’t follow the rules.

He talked about past election results where opposition parties defeated the ruling party in key states of the federation.

He stressed the importance of democracy and people’s power in governance.

“I am not scared about the so-called number two, whom I don’t want to talk about. I can never be intimidated or scared by people who don’t play by the rules.“

“You’re talking about 9 years, I can tell you for 16 years the president was in control of Lagos. We defeated him in Lagos and you have the results. APC and PDP didn’t have 50 percent of the votes in the FCT.”

“I am never scared because if we are in a democracy, it’s the people’s power that we use. And we are in a democracy. We are using the power which belongs to the people, and the armoured tank which as well belongs to the people,” Baba-Ahmed stated…..See More
