According to a video posted on the official YouTube channel of Arise News on Sunday, May 10, 2026, NDC Chieftain, Shitu Mohammed Kabiru, reacted strongly to comments made by presidential spokesman Bayo Onanuga regarding members of the Nigeria Democratic Congress.
Kabiru spoke during an interview while responding to remarks credited to Onanuga, who reportedly described some opposition politicians in the NDC as noise makers. Defending the party and its members, Kabiru argued that many of the individuals now associated with the NDC are experienced politicians who have occupied major public offices in the country.
While addressing the criticism, Kabiru said, “If you are looking at everyone there as a noise maker, whoever has become a senator or governor cannot be a noise maker.”
He further maintained that several figures within the party have served as governors, senators, party chairmen, and presidential candidates at different times, insisting that such political backgrounds should not be dismissed lightly….See More
