27 Lawmakers Swore An Affidavit They Left PDP, Court Says They’re Still In PDP – Ikenga Ugochinyere
The representative for Imo State’s Ideato North-South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Ikenga Ugochinyere, has voiced his dissatisfaction following a court decision that determined the 27 legislators from Rivers State who had declared their defection from the PDP to the APC were still PDP members.
AIT posted a video in which Ugochinyere asserted that the 27 lawmakers, who were led by Martins Amaewhule, swore in an affidavit that they were leaving the PDP because of a purported internal dispute.
In spite of the documented affidavit proving their defection, he expressed surprise that a court determined the lawmakers are still PDP members.

Ugochinyere said, “These people (27 Rivers lawmakers) swore to an affidavit at the federal high court that they left PDP because of the so-called imaginary division that is not even existing anywhere in PDP.”
