Nigerian activist and former presidential candidate, Omoyele Sowore has taken to his official X account on May 6, 2026 to react to what FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike told a pastor who begged him not to takeover Jabi Lake.
This came after DAILY TRUST reported that a pastor in the FCT begged the FCT Minister not to takeover the recreation centre. In the report that surfaced online, Nyesom Wike stated that he’s not moved by the actions of the pastor.
Here is what Nyesom Wike said;
“To the woman who was crying, if she likes, let her call God to come down. What is my business? How does Jabi become hers? Is it an individual or government property? We are trying to make sure investors develop this land for the interest of all of us”.
Reacting, Omoyele Sowore stated that Wike must not takeover the Jabi Lake.
