People Are Killed Because Of Political Things, If I Be A Man Of God Let There Be Judgment -Ibiyeomie

In a recent video on Sunday, May 10th 2026, Nigerian cleric Pastor David Ibiyeomie has spoken out against political violence, condemning killings linked to political conflicts and warning of what he described as divine judgment against perpetrators.

During a sermon segment, Pastor Ibiyeomie referenced reports of violence associated with political struggles, expressing concern over the loss of lives and instability caused by such incidents.

“I hear people are being killed because of political things,” he said, describing the trend as unacceptable and contrary to peace and justice. He used the moment to call for restraint and accountability in political engagements.

The cleric stated that those responsible for orchestrating or participating in acts of violence would not escape consequences, adding that he believed such actions carry spiritual repercussions.

“If I be a man of God, in seven days…” he declared, warning that those behind violent acts would face what he described as divine judgment. He linked his statement to a broader message of accountability and moral responsibility in leadership struggles.

Pastor Ibiyeomie also prayed for peace and protection over individuals and communities affected by political unrest, asking for what he described as divine intervention to stop further escalation of violence.

He emphasized that political ambition should not lead to the destruction of human lives, urging political actors and supporters to embrace peaceful processes rather than aggression.

“Let there be peace,” he prayed, calling for protection over innocent citizens who may be caught in the middle of political conflicts…See More
