In a recent video on YouTube, Johnson Suleman has delivered an in-depth teaching on the progression of biblical dispensations, emphasizing the transition from the Mosaic law to the era of grace and its significance in Christian theology.
Speaking during a sermon, Suleman explained that the period of the law began with Moses, marking a structured system of commandments that governed human conduct.
“Then Moses lived under the law. So the law began from Exodus 20 when Moses received the commandments,” he said, identifying the moment he believes formal legal instruction was introduced.
He described the law as a system centered on restrictions and moral directives.
“That was when the law was initiated… ‘Thou shalt not, thou shalt not.’ That’s the law. It’s control,” Suleman stated, portraying it as a framework designed to regulate behavior.
According to him, this system eventually gave way to a new dispensation marked by grace, which he linked to the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament.
“And that thing transported to Acts chapter 2 when grace came, when the Holy Ghost came—that’s when grace came,” he said, highlighting what he views as a pivotal shift in divine interaction with humanity.
Suleman outlined a sequence of dispensations, including innocence, conscience, human government, promise, law, and grace, each representing a different phase in biblical history.
He noted that the current era is one of grace, characterized by spiritual empowerment and a different relationship between God and believers.
Beyond this, he pointed to what he described as a future dispensation yet to be fully realized.
“After grace, there’s a final dispensation—the millennial kingdom,” he said.
Looking ahead, Suleman referenced eschatological beliefs about the return of Christ and a future reign on earth.
“When Jesus comes to rapture us… we will come back and reign on the earth,” he added….See More
