The founder and Senior Pastor of Salvation Ministries International, David Ibiyeomie, has revealed what he described as a crucial spiritual step for believers seeking a change in their life story, stressing the power of passionate and uninhibited praise.
He made this known during a recent sermon shared via YouTube.
Addressing his congregation, the cleric emphasized that divine encounters are not determined by outward appearance but by sincerity and desperation before God.
“It’s not a place where you look at the kind of gown you’re wearing. It’s not a place where you look at the kind of suit you’re wearing. It’s a place you don’t mind anybody,” he said.
He explained that believers must reach a point of total surrender where they cry out to God without self-consciousness, adding, “You go down, you come up, you say, ‘God, do something for me. All obstacles clear them. All my enemies bring them down. I must move to the next phase without any obstacle or barrier.’”
Ibiyeomie further assured worshippers that such bold prayers and expressions of faith would produce visible testimonies. “Somebody will have a testimony,” he declared, reinforcing his message of expectation and divine intervention.
Drawing from scripture, he referenced the example of David, who danced passionately before God despite criticism. “David danced to a point… even the wife said this man must be mad to be dancing like this,” he noted, explaining that such radical worship is often misunderstood but spiritually significant. He added, “Until you are mad in your dance, you will not be made by God. Mad and made—the ‘e’ added to mad is made.”
The pastor went on to describe this as the “extra thing” required for anyone trusting God for a turnaround. “If you want God to change your story, you must dance like a mad person,” he said.
Comparing it to the innocence of a child, he explained, “If you meet a child and say, ‘I have chocolate for you, can you dance?’ the child doesn’t mind… the more you say dance, the more he dances.”
He concluded that such uninhibited praise, driven by faith and expectation, is what provokes divine action and leads to life-changing testimonies…See More
