In a recent interview shared by TV Platinum, 2023 presidential candidate of AAC and human rights activist, Omoyele Sowore, has criticized recent political gatherings, questioning their impact on Nigeria’s challenges.

Sowore expressed strong dissatisfaction with the outcome of the opposition meeting held in Ibadan, arguing that such assemblies often fail to address the real concerns of citizens. According to him, political actors continue to hold discussions without presenting practical solutions to the country’s pressing issues, including economic hardship, insecurity, and unemployment.

Emphasizing the need for accountability and people-driven change, he stated, “No one of you can tell me that after they finished the Ibadan meeting, they offered a single solution to Nigeria’s problems.” The remark reflects his broader criticism of what he described as repetitive political engagements lacking meaningful direction.
