Nollywood actress Queen Pamela has shared an intriguing account of how she got married to her husband, revealing that their relationship developed in an unexpected way despite her initial rejection of his advances.

The actress made this known during an interview published on the official YouTube channel of Feel Right News TV, where she reflected on her early years in the entertainment industry and the circumstances that led to her marriage.

Recounting her experience, Queen Pamela disclosed that she first met her husband in 2007 while she was still a university student. Their initial encounter took place in a market, where she had gone to purchase items. According to her, it was during that meeting that her future husband expressed interest in her, marking the beginning of their relationship.

She explained that at the time, she was focused on building her acting career, which later grew into her presence in Nollywood. However, she noted that one of the most striking aspects of their early interaction was her husband’s request that she stop acting, a suggestion that stood in contrast to her ambitions.

In her words, “I met my husband in 2007, and I got married to him the same year. I didn’t understand how I ended up getting married to him because I could remember that he told me to stop film making.”

Providing further details, she added, “My husband toasted me, I turned him down, but I didn’t know how I suddenly got married to him. I know our marriage didn’t just happen, there is more to it.”

Queen Pamela also recalled that their meeting at the market was the starting point of continued interactions, as her husband remained persistent despite her initial refusal.
