Terrorists Killed 3 Officers, LG Is Trying Its Best; It’s Not Something We Can Do Alone -Danladi

According to report by THISDAY on Sunday May 3, 2026, Abubakar Abdullahi Danladi, the Chairman of Kaiama Local Government Area in Kwara State, has confirmed a fresh attack by suspected terrorists in Tenibo community, where three mobile police officers were reportedly killed.

Speaking with journalists, Danladi explained that the incident occurred recently and described it as another troubling security challenge facing the area. He said the attackers struck again, leading to the death of the officers who were on duty.

He noted that the local government is making efforts to address the situation but cannot handle it alone. According to him, there is ongoing cooperation with both the state and federal governments to strengthen security and prevent further attacks.

Danladi stressed that tackling the rising insecurity requires joint action and better coordination among all levels of government.
