Garus Gololo: Tinubu Discussed Coastal Roads; We All Know His Son Was The Contractor

Dr. Garus Gololo, a prominent figure within the All Progressives Congress (APC) and former member of the party’s Board of Trustees, has publicly expressed disappointment with President Bola Tinubu’s recent address to protesters concerned about Nigeria’s economic situation.

In a report by The Sun, Dr. Gololo shared his perspective on the President’s speech, suggesting it failed to adequately address the immediate economic concerns of Nigerian citizens. Instead of focusing on pressing issues like food security and the rising cost of living, Tinubu’s speech emphasized infrastructure projects such as coastal roads and super highways.

“I was actually expecting the President to address the demands of Nigerians bit by bit according to the economic realities,” Dr. Gololo stated. He expressed surprise at the President’s focus, saying, “I am short of words because he rather talked of coastal roads and super highways being supervised by David Umahi and others.”

Dr. Gololo raised questions about the prioritization of these infrastructure projects, particularly in light of widespread hunger across the nation. He specifically mentioned the coastal road project, noting, “We all knew that his son was the contractor handling the coastal roads.”
