Salihu Lukman Urges Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso To Unite Against Tinubu In 2027 Presidential Bid

In a bold call for opposition unity, Salihu Lukman, former APC National Vice Chairman, has urged key political figures including Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi, and Rabiu Kwankwaso to forge a collaborative front ahead of Nigeria’s 2027 general elections.

Lukman emphasized the imperative of collective action among opposition leaders to effectively challenge the ruling APC and its leader, President Bola Tinubu.

Highlighting the failures of the current administration under Tinubu, Lukman criticized the APC for perpetuating corruption and ‘state capture’ across various levels of governance.

He underscored the need for selflessness among Nigerian political leaders to address pressing national challenges such as poverty, unemployment, and insecurity.

The statement, issued in Abuja, urged opposition leaders to set aside personal ambitions and prioritize national interest in their bid to restore effective governance.
