Abraham Okodugha, who has overcome substance abuse, has opened up about a painful experience from his teenage years, alleging that a pastor publicly humiliated him after accusing him of having a relationship with a househelp.

He shared the account during an appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, where he discussed some of the traumatic events that influenced his life before he recovered from addiction.

According to Abraham, the incident began when his pastor became convinced that he was romantically involved with a female househelp working in the pastor’s residence. He said he repeatedly denied the accusation and maintained that he had not engaged in any wrongdoing.

Recalling the ordeal, he said, “My pastor beat me in public and stripped me naked because he thought I slept with his househelp.”

Abraham alleged that despite his repeated claims of innocence, the pastor confronted him and physically assaulted him. He further claimed that the situation later turned into a public spectacle, drawing the attention of people who knew him as a respected young church worker.

According to him, he was publicly stripped and humiliated during the incident, an experience that left him embarrassed and emotionally devastated. He alleged that the physical assault continued even as he pleaded his innocence and denied the accusation against him.
