ADC: Atiku Warns Presidency, INEC, Judiciary Against Interfering In Party Activities

The 2027 Presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress has warned against what he described as attempts to interfere in the affairs of the party.

As reported by Daily Post, Atiku issued the warning shortly after emerging as the ADC’s presidential flag bearer following the party’s primary election, where he defeated former Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, and Mohammed Hayatu-Deen.

In a post shared on X, the former vice president thanked members of the ADC for entrusting him with the party’s presidential ticket ahead of the 2027 election. He claimed that while democracy is under pressure in Nigeria, the ADC had demonstrated a transparent and democratic process during its primary election.

Atiku also accused the Presidency, the Independent National Electoral Commission, and the judiciary of attempting to undermine the party and frustrate its activities.
