The Cost Of Food Items Is Rising, And The Northerners Can’t Afford Three Square Meals – Ali Mohammed

On 13th July, 2024 the Katsina State Elders’ Forum in a statement released by the Secretary of the forum, Ali Mohammed while reacting to the current economic hardship and scarcity of food facing the country, revealed that the cost of food items was rising by the day, everything was expensive in the country, and the good people of the Northern parts of the could not afford three square meals.

According to Channels Television, the Secretary of the Katsina State Elders’ Forum, Ali Mohammed said “The cost of food items is rising by the day, everything is expensive, and the Northerners cannot afford three square meals. This is very serious and we are advising the Federal Government. Mr Tinubu has a listening ear and is a democrat and if his cabinet is not advising him well, please he should drop them and bring people with good ideas that will help him run his government the way Nigerians will be happy.”

Ali Mohammed while reacting to the current security challenges facing the country, especially the Northern parts of the country emphasized that if the Nigerian soldiers could go elsewhere in other countries to perform miracles and restore peace, why not in the Northern part of the country?
