Reactions As Presidency Announces That Atiku And ADC Are Owing Staff Salaries For Over A Year

There have been several reactions from social media users after it was announced that the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku and the African Democratic Congress, ADC are owing staff salaries.

This was contained in a post that Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy shared on his official X handle on Monday, October 26, 2026.

In the report that surfaced online, it was stated that Atiku Abubakar his party have refused to pay the staff for over one year. Bayo Onanuga said the people of Nigeria should reject the former Vice President and every candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC

Here is what Bayo Onanuga wrote on his official X handle;

“It has come to our attention that the National Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress, led by Senator David Mark as Chairman and Rauf Aregbesola as Secretary, has refused and neglected to pay party staff for over a year”.
