There have been several reactions from social media users after a viral photo claiming that the former governor of Anambra state and presidential candidate of the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC distributed bread in order to solicit votes was fact checked.
This was contained in a report that was published on the official X handle of Daily Trust on Monday, October 26, 2026.
This is coming ahead of the General Elections that has been scheduled to hold in 2027.
In the report that surfaced online, it was stated that it’s not true that Peter Obi distributed bread to solicit votes.Daily Trust stated that the bread branded with with Peter Obi’s Image is fake.
The report also stated that the real image was branded with the face of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressive Congress, APC.
However, after the post surfaced online, there were several reactions from social media users.
