Former National Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Peter Ameh, has alleged that the African Democratic Congress (ADC) was a stable party under its founder, Ralph Nwosu, until Peter Obi’s arrival made the political establishment uncomfortable and triggered a wave of targeted disruption against the party.
Speaking on Channels TV, Ameh said, “The crisis in the ADC is a strange one. The founder of the ADC, Ralph Nwosu is my very good friend, my brother. We have been together for many years. He has supported me in ways that most of the public would not know. But the party was stable, he was enjoying his party until Peter Obi entered the party, and then you started seeing court cases,” he said.
Ameh status quo ante bellum ruling that he said was deliberately misinterpreted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
He argued that it was unreasonable to expect Obi to stay in the ADC and continue fighting political battles that, in his view, were being carefully orchestrated by those in power.
