Maintain Peace & Reconcile With Wike; I’ll Get BAT Involved To Speed The Process-Orji Kalu To Fubara
According to a report published by Daily Post, Abia North senator, Orji Uzor Kalu, has called for peace in Rivers State, urging Governor Siminalayi Fubara to reconcile with his predecessor, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister Nyesom Wike.
Kalu made the appeal during a courtesy visit to Governor Fubara on Friday.
Highlighting the importance of peace and reconciliation, Kalu stressed that harmony between Fubara and Wike would be in the best interest of Rivers State.
He also revealed his intention to involve President Bola Tinubu in facilitating a swift reconciliation process.
“Governor Fubara, your leadership has shown great promise, and it is evident that you have the people’s best interests at heart. I encourage you to maintain peace and work towards reconciliation with former governor Wike,” Kalu said.
“Such unity will undoubtedly strengthen the state and foster an environment conducive to growth and development. I also promise to get President Tinubu involved to ensure a speedy reconciliatory process.”
Kalu praised Fubara’s commitment to the growth of Rivers State and urged him to continue prioritizing the welfare of its people.
His visit and appeal come amid ongoing tensions between Fubara and Wike, which have threatened to destabilize the state.
