Reactions Trail Photo Released by Chidi Odinkalu Depicting the Fall of Wike’s Political Structure

 

In a political development in Rivers State, the Action People’s Party (APP) has emerged victorious in 22 out of 23 local government chairmanship positions in the recently concluded elections. The results were officially announced on Saturday in Port Harcourt by the Chief Electoral Officer of the Rivers State Independent Electoral Commission (RSIEC), Adolphus Enebeli.

This overwhelming win by the APP comes amidst growing political shifts in the state, signaling a change in the local political landscape. Prominent human rights lawyer and activist, Chidi Anselm Odinkalu, took to his official X handle (formerly Twitter) to react to the results, posting a picture that symbolically depicted the dismantling of the political structure of former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike.

Odinkalu’s post has sparked discussions on social media, with many interpreting the image as a representation of Wike’s diminishing influence in the state’s political affairs.
