JUST IN: Sad News, City Boys Movement Coordinator Cubana Chief Priest Loses APC House of Reps Primaries in Imo

Celebrity nightlife promoter and City Boys Movement coordinator Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, has lost his bid for the All Progressives Congress House of Representatives ticket in Imo State.

The socialite contested the APC primaries for the Orlu-Orsu-Oru East Federal Constituency but was defeated by incumbent lawmaker Hon. Cubana Chief Priest entered the race earlier this year, formally purchasing APC expression of interest and nomination forms in April 2026. He announced his ambition at the APC secretariat in Imo, saying he wanted to “represent my people, the good people of Orsu, Orlu and Oru East Federal Constituency, at the House of Representatives”. Cubana Chief Priest was appointed Imo State Director of the City Boys Movement in February 2026, with the group describing him as a “symbol of dedication, strategic leadership, and unwavering commitment” to advancing President Bola Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The City Boys Movement has since reaffirmed his position as director, dismissing reports of internal disputes.

During his campaign, Cubana Chief Priest said he was not entering politics to “steal money” but to “add mine to the constituency”. He also linked his decision to run to his desire to influence federal discussions around issues affecting the South-East, including the detention of Nnamdi Kanu….See More
