Jamiu: I saw my brother lifeless. I screamed, but one of the soldiers asked me to shut up—Farida Jamiu

Farida Jamiu, sister to Abdulssamad Jamiu, a National Youth Service Corps member allegedly killed by soldiers in Dei-Dei, Abuja, has made some revelations regarding the untimely death of her brother.

According to reports, Abdulssamad Jamiu was reportedly caught in a crossfire between soldiers and armed robbers, although reports from the deceased relatives have contradicted this claim made by the Nigerian Army.

However, in the video posted by TrustTV News, Farida Jamiu, sister to the deceased, recalled how she had gone downstairs after perceiving gunsmoke only for her to find soldiers in the residence.

Furthermore, Farida narrated how she had struggled to gain access to the room of the deceased, and upon discovering her brother’s lifeless body, she began to scream, but one of the soldiers asked her to keep quiet, which she did.
