Asue Contributed Only N100,000 For Security In Esan While Okpebholo Gave Millions -Adams Oshiomhole
The Senator representing Edo North Senatorial District, Adams Oshiomhole has alleged that during the contribution to improve the local security infrastructure in Esan land, the PDP candidate, Asue Ighodalo contributed only N100,000. He stated that this sum paled in comparison to the donation from the APC candidate, Senator Okpebholo who had given millions.
He stated that Okpebholo did not only donate money but also provided vehicles for the security personnel. He asserted that one does not need to hold a gubernatorial position to demonstrate care for their community. Highlighting the importance of local charity, he questioned how much Asue Ighodalo had allocated to support his village.
He said in a live coverage by Arise TV, ”Governance is about having human empathy. And you do not have to be a governor to show that you care. How much did he (Asue Ighodalo) appropriate to support his own village? They say charity begins at home.
