According To the Electoral Act Oshiomhole Has Committed An Offence And We’ve Filed A Case-Ose Anenih
The Director of Strategy for the Asue Ighodalo Campaign Organization, Ose Anenih, has vowed to take legal action against Adams Oshiomhole for his recent accusations against Asue Ighodalo. Oshiomhole had alleged that Ighodalo manipulated the PDP primaries in Edo State and was not electable.
In an interview with Arise News, Anenih expressed shock at Oshiomhole’s “lies and propaganda” on national television. He referenced the new Electoral Act, section 123 b and c, which states that publishing or pushing false information to disparage or discredit a candidate is an offense punishable by six months in jail or a 100 thousand naira fine.
Anenih emphasized that they have filed a complaint and want to test whether Oshiomhole is above the law. He stressed that no one should think they can speak recklessly and break the law without consequences.

I was shocked to see him come on national television to push lies and propaganda. The new Electoral Act, section 123 b and c said if you come out and you publish or push false information or reckless information that seek to disparage or discredit a candidate, you’ve committed an offence and you’re liable to six months in jail or a 100 thousand naira fine and it’s something that we’ve filed.
