Bandit:When I Turned,They Have Tied My Brother With Rope And I Began To Speak Hausa With Them-Victim

Titus Chukwuemeka has recounted how he and his brother were kidnapped by suspected herders while travelling from Abuja to Enugu, describing how the attackers opened fire and seized his brother during the incident.

Chukwuemeka narrated his experience during an interview on Lucky Udu Experience on Friday, October 9, 2026, where he spoke about the frightening encounter and the circumstances surrounding their abduction.

According to him, the attackers fired their guns for about two minutes, causing everyone around to flee for safety as the situation became chaotic.

He explained that it was after turning around that he discovered the kidnappers had taken hold of his brother, who was subsequently restrained with a rope.

“They shot for like 2 minutes and everybody took to their heels. When I turned, I now saw that they were holding my brother. In fact, they have tied my brother with rope and I had to stop and began to speak Hausa with them,” Chukwuemeka said.

The account highlights the terrifying moments the brothers experienced when their journey turned into a kidnapping ordeal. The attackers reportedly demanded N50 million following their abduction.

Chukwuemeka’s narration provides an insight into the fear and confusion that victims of kidnapping experience when armed attackers strike, leaving travellers scrambling for safety while their relatives are seized.
