The Wike-Anyu Suspension And Expulsion Is Valid And Is Affirmed By The Supreme Court- Adetokunbo Pearse

In a recent interview aired by Arise TV, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adetokunbo Pearse, has commented on the implications of a Supreme Court ruling on the party’s internal crisis.

Pearse stated that the judgment delivered by the Supreme Court of Nigeria has clarified the legal position regarding disputes within the party, particularly those involving disciplinary actions against certain members. According to him, the ruling has effectively resolved lingering controversies over legitimacy and authority.

He said, “Wike-Ayu suspension and expulsion is valid and is affirmed by supreme court,” stressing that the decision leaves no room for further disagreement on the status of the affected individuals within the party.

Pearse argued that the affirmation strengthens the authority of the PDP’s internal structures and validates decisions taken prior to the disputed convention. He maintained that any claims or actions by those affected should no longer be recognized within the party’s framework, as the court’s decision has provided final clarity on the matter.

He further explained that the ruling offers the PDP an opportunity to move beyond its internal divisions and refocus on rebuilding unity ahead of future elections. According to him, resolving leadership disputes is essential for restoring public confidence and reinforcing the party’s standing as a major opposition force.

Pearse also emphasized the importance of respecting judicial decisions in maintaining order within political organizations. He noted that adherence to the court’s verdict would help stabilize the party and prevent further internal conflicts.

The PDP chieftain concluded by urging members to align with the legally recognized leadership and work collectively toward strengthening the party’s structure and electoral prospects…See More
