You brought the most heavily armed military in the history of the world to its knees, General Vahidi

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Chief, Major General Ahmad Vahidi, has praised Iranian armed forces and other security personnel for what he described as their successful performance during six months of intense fighting against a powerful adversary.

In a message addressed to members of Iran’s Armed Forces, Police, Basij, tribal forces and intelligence personnel, Vahidi commended their operations under extremely difficult battlefield conditions.

According to Al Jazeera, he said Iranian forces had demonstrated their ability to conduct both offensive and defensive operations despite heavy attacks and challenging environmental conditions.

“You brought the most heavily armed military in the history of the world to its knees,” General Vahidi said, praising the forces for their resistance and battlefield achievements.

The IRGC chief said Iranian troops operated under harsh conditions, including extreme heat and humidity along the country’s southern islands and coastal areas, as well as severe cold in mountainous regions along the northern borders.

Vahidi also credited Iranian forces with using innovative methods to manage the battlefield and said their operations had enabled Iran to impose its will on its adversary.

According to the commander, six months of fighting had renewed hopes among oppressed peoples that powerful and hegemonic forces could eventually be overcome.

He further praised the Iranian population for maintaining its support and presence throughout the conflict.

Vahidi said the continued backing of the Iranian people, together with what he described as divine assistance, would contribute to ending the suffering of people across the region, particularly in Palestine and Lebanon.
