Say No To Hard Drugs: Two South Africa Ladies Go N@ked After Allegedly Taking Colos for the First Time (Video)

Two young women from South Africa reportedly caused a scene at a Lagos nightclub over the weekend after allegedly consuming a hard substance locally known as Colorado for the first time, according to eyewitness accounts. The incident has reignited conversations about synthetic drug use and safety in Nigeria’s nightlife scene.

According to witnesses, the incident occurred during a late-night party at a popular Lagos club. Several clubgoers said the women were advised by friends and other patrons not to take the substance, but allegedly ignored the warnings. Colorado, sometimes called “Colos” on the streets, is a dangerous synthetic drug known for its strong psychoactive effects. Health officials have repeatedly cautioned that it is unregulated, unpredictable, and linked to severe health risks.

An eyewitness who requested anonymity said the women began acting strangely minutes after consuming the substance. “People around warned them not to take it because they weren’t used to it, but they refused. After some minutes, they started behaving differently and later removed their clothes inside the club,” the eyewitness recounted.

Videos from the scene, which have since circulated online, reportedly showed security personnel and other individuals attempting to calm the women and cover them while working to restore order. Witnesses described the atmosphere as chaotic, with many clubgoers expressing shock at the unfolding events. Club management has not released an official statement as of press time, but sources indicate the women were eventually escorted out and given assistance.

The incident has drawn attention to the growing abuse of hard substances among youths and nightlife enthusiasts. Medical experts stress that synthetic drugs like Colorado can cause loss of self-control, hallucinations, aggression, anxiety, and long-term mental instability. The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has previously warned that many street-level substances are mixed with unknown chemicals, making their effects even more dangerous and unpredictable.

Community advocates are calling for stricter checks at entertainment venues and more public education on drug risks. “This isn’t just about one night in a club. It’s about young people underestimating substances they know nothing about,” said a Lagos-based youth counselor. “Peer pressure and curiosity can lead to life-altering consequences in minutes.”

Nightclub owners in Lagos have also faced pressure to improve safety protocols, including training staff to identify and respond to substance-related emergencies. Some venues now work with local NGOs to run awareness campaigns targeting partygoers.
