PDP chieftain Chief Olabode George has condemned the attacks on Cardinal John Onaiyekan over his remarks on the state of the nation.
Speaking on TVC, Chief Bode George said, “People who lack some deep-rooted home training are insulting a cardinal who is a member of the conclave who could be a pope tomorrow. That’s not the way it is done. It will have repercussions. We don’t need all these political attack on our political stage. We have also been there before. Everybody will leave the stage at the end of the day,” he said.
George stated that he is no longer at loggerhead with President Tinubu. He however made it clear that his support for any political process remains conditional.
