Nobody Can Kidnap Me, Not Even My Family, Because They Are Spread Across Canada And Germany– Igboho

As reported by _Punch_ on Thursday, June 4, 2026, Yoruba Nation activist Sunday Adeyemo, better known as Sunday Igboho, has warned he may go public with the names of politicians he claims are behind the student abductions in Oriire LGA, Oyo State.

Speaking on the case, Igboho said he was reached about the kidnapping and later received threats.

He added, “Then the Oyo government told me the kidnappers said if I tried to step in and rescue the children myself, they would kill all of them.”

He said the warning was passed on to stop him and his team from taking direct action.

Even with that threat, the activist insisted that a rescue is still possible if the authorities are genuinely committed to saving the victims.

He argued that local operatives who know the area well could take on the kidnappers effectively.

In his words, “If they’re serious about getting the victims out, they should let my men and me go after them in the forests in our region. Let’s see if those people will stay put even with their bombs and high-powered weapons.”

Igboho also said fear doesn’t affect him personally, stressing that his main worry is for the kidnapped students, not his own safety.

He added that his family isn’t close enough to be directly threatened by the situation.

“I’m just concerned about these abductees; nobody can kidnap me, not even my family, because they are spread across Canada and Germany. Why should I fret?” he said….Discover More
