Biddy Nnanna has recounted the painful final moments of her sister,Ngozi who allegedly died after a pair of scissors was left inside her body following a fibroid surgery in Lagos State.
The revelation was made during an interview with Punch Newspapers, where Nnanna narrated the ordeal the family faced while seeking medical help for her sister after the operation reportedly went wrong.
According to her, complications began shortly after the surgery as the deceased’s health rapidly deteriorated. She explained that despite obvious signs that her sister’s condition was worsening, the hospital allegedly failed to refer her to a more equipped medical facility for urgent treatment.
Recalling the disturbing experience, Nnanna said, “They started putting pipe on her nose and they started bringing out a greenish thing and I was like ‘what is this, if you can’t do this thing why don’t you refer us to a bigger and better hospital let’s find out what is wrong with her’. They refused.”
She alleged that the family repeatedly demanded answers from the medical personnel but received little cooperation while her sister continued to suffer severe pain and complications.
