She Spoke To Her Boyfriend At Hour Of Her Death & Complaining That She Was Bleeding From Nose—Umahi

Minister of Works Dave Umahi has shared details of what he described as the final moments before the death of a nurse who worked with him, saying the woman spoke with her boyfriend shortly before she died.

Speaking during an interview with SYMFONI TV, Umahi dismissed allegations surrounding the incident and maintained that the deceased was like a daughter to him. He explained that she had worked with his family for three years and was a staff member of the Federal University medical system, not a physiotherapist as widely reported.

Giving his account of the events, Umahi said, “She spoke to her boyfriend at the hour of her death and complaining that she was bleeding from the nose.” According to him, the boyfriend advised her to stop talking because continuing the conversation could worsen the bleeding. He added, “The boyfriend said listen I will not continue this conversation since you are bleeding it will increase the bleeding.”

Umahi further claimed that the boyfriend became worried after ending the call. “Three minutes later the boyfriend called again she was not responding and even in the morning she told the boyfriend she was going to bath.” He said colleagues later forced open her locked room after becoming concerned.

Describing what they found, the minister said, “When they discover they broke the door and discover that the tap was still running you know.” He insisted the circumstances did not suggest foul play and urged investigators to examine the call logs between the deceased and her boyfriend.

Umahi also appealed to the deceased’s family to allow an autopsy, saying it would help establish the exact cause of death. He added that the nurse had previously received medical treatment at a Turkish hospital and maintained that he believed the matter should be resolved through proper investigation rather than speculation..See_More
