Umar Usman, the father of a missing child in Kaduna State, has recounted the painful moment his son allegedly disappeared from outside their family home in the Unguwan Rimi community of Kaduna North Local Government Area.
Speaking during an interview on Trust TV, Usman described how the incident happened unexpectedly while the child was preparing to leave for school. According to him, the boy had been playing outside their residence when his mother called him inside to get ready for classes.
He said the family became alarmed moments later after discovering that the child was nowhere to be found. “My son was playing outside the house when his mother called him to get ready for school. Suddenly, someone came and took him away,” he said during the interview.
Usman explained that the disappearance has left the family devastated, adding that relatives and neighbours immediately began searching the surrounding area after realizing the boy had vanished. He noted that the incident occurred within a very short period, making it difficult for anyone nearby to understand exactly what happened.
The case has reportedly heightened fear among residents of Unguwan Rimi, many of whom expressed concern about the safety of children within the community.
