Kwankwaso Was Negotiating With Those In Power, It Was When It Failed That He Had No Option – Nwosu

ADC founder and former chairman, Chief Ralph Nwosu has alleged that Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso’s decision to join the ADC coalition was because he ran out of alternatives after his bid to secure a favourable arrangement with the ruling All Progressives Congress.

Speaking on Symfoni TV, Nwosu said, “All along, when the chairman and other leaders would send people to Kwankwaso, he was more interested in negotiating with those in power,” he said. “It was when that finally failed, and then his governor joined them, that he had no more option. And he came into the coalition.”

Nwosu however acknowledging the contributions both Kwankwaso and Peter Obi made during their time in the party, noting that Obi’s presence alone helped attract at least 500,000 new registrations into the ADC before his departure.

He maintained, however, that the party had not only absorbed the blow of their exit but had come out stronger on the other side, with membership surpassing one million new registrations in the period since both Obi and Kwankwaso left….See More
