It Will Be The Biggest Miscalculation To Arrest Obi And Indeed A Search For Ignorance- Mahdi Shehu

Nigerian political commentator, Mahdi Shehu has stated that it will be the biggest miscalculation to arrest the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi.

He made the statement on his official X handle on Sunday.

His statement is coming after Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Tinubu accused the former governor of Anambra state of planning the forthcoming nationwide protest.

However, Mahdi Shehu has now shared his thoughts after Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization alleged that the Federal Government is making a plot to arrest Peter Obi.

Here is what Peter Obi Grassroots Mobilization wrote on its official X handle;

“We have just been informed that Tinubu’s Government is plotting to arrest Peter Obi over the planned nationwide protest by young Nigerians across the country concerning hunger and hardship. Any attempt to arrest HE Peter Obi will be vehemently resisted and opposed, certainly by all the well-meaning Nigerians”.

Reacting to the statement, Mahdi Shehu stated that arresting Peter Obi will be the biggest miscalculation.
