Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has declared that no amount of criticism, controversy or false allegations can break his resolve, insisting that he remains unshaken despite years of public scrutiny over his personal life.
According to a report by BusinessDay published on Sunday, June 28, 2026, the actor made the remarks while reacting to fresh allegations involving his current wife, Judy, and her former husband, Mr. Emma Obasi.
Obasi had recently alleged that Edochie prevented him from having access to his children, an accusation that has generated widespread reactions on social media.
Responding through a post shared on his verified Facebook page, the actor dismissed the allegation, describing it as another attempt to tarnish his reputation.
Edochie maintained that he has been the target of numerous false accusations over the past four years, but insisted that every effort to bring him down has failed.
According to him, the latest claim is simply another fabricated story designed to damage his public image and create unnecessary controversy around his family.
The actor also rejected suggestions that he took another man’s wife, describing the allegation as false and misleading.
Expressing confidence in his ability to withstand criticism, Edochie said, “If only they know what I’m made of, I’m a rock, no mortal or spirit can bring me down.”
He added that those spreading what he described as false narratives have consistently underestimated his resilience, stressing that he remains focused despite the continuous attacks directed at him.
According to the Nollywood star, the controversies surrounding his personal life have not distracted him from pursuing his career and other personal aspirations.
He argued that the repeated circulation of negative stories about him has become a pattern, noting that each new allegation eventually fades without affecting his determination.
Edochie stated that despite the criticism he has received over the years, he has remained committed to living his life according to his convictions rather than trying to satisfy public expectations.
