Hardship Protest: ‘We Shouldn’t Expect More From The FCT Minister Than Mischief’ – Damilola Adenola

Damilare Adenola, Director of Mobilization for the Take It Back Movement, has criticized FCT Minister Nyesom Wike for his recent comments on the ongoing protests in Nigeria. In an interview with Channels Television, Adenola described Wike’s statements as “mischief” and accused him of trying to divert attention from the main issues.

Adenola’s comments came after Wike alleged that a Nigerian senator was one of the sponsors of the protest. Adenola dismissed Wike’s claim, saying that the minister was trying to “bail himself out” by making mischievous comments rather than addressing the underlying concerns driving the protests.

The Take It Back Movement is one of the organizations leading the protests, which have been ongoing since August 1.
