Rare School Moment As Nigerian Student Claims That All Teachers, Including the Principal, Are Crushing on Her

A Nigerian secondary school student has sparked buzz online after claiming that every teacher in her school, including the principal, is “crushing” on her. Education experts say the incident highlights the need for constant sensitization on appropriate conduct in schools. While students often exaggerate for clout on social media, teachers and school administrators are expected to maintain professional distance regardless of the situation.

The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria and the Federal Ministry of Education have repeatedly warned against any form of inappropriate relationship or behavior between teachers and students. Such conduct, they note, constitutes a breach of the teaching profession’s code of ethics and can lead to dismissal and prosecution.
