Kola Ologbondiyan, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC has disclosed the reasons why Nigerians were amused at the total amount of votes reportedly secured by the winner of the recently concluded APC primary elections.
According to his statements which were made available to the general public by ChannelsTv on their official X handle on Tuesday May 26th, 2026 he pointed out that the people had become extremely conscious.
The All Progressive Congress, it can be recalled, caused a massive stir after they announced that president Tinubu secured nearly eleven million votes to emerge as the party’s 2027 presidential flag-bearer.
However, while many attributed the landslide victory to President Tinubu’s popularity, others opined that the results might have been doctored.
Kola Ologbondiyan, while speaking during a interview on ChannelsTv, pointed out that the people had become wiser, hence, their amusement at the figures brought out by the APC.
